The S5 Miele Pisces S5281 has the same features as the other S5 vacuums,except it does not come with the SEB 217-3 electric power brush it comes with the STB 205-3 air driven turbo brush. It is not good for carpeting or homes with pets. If you do have a large home with smooth floors and commercial carpeting and non delicate rugs,then the Miele Pisces is perfect for you..
All S5 vacuums take GN extra large Hyclean vacuum dust bags and come with 3 tools (upholstery brush,crevice tool and dusting brush) that store inside the vacuum.

If you have smooth floors commercial carpeting and rugs. If you do not have pets, and your home is small to mid size then the Miele Onyx is for you. Comes with the SBB 300-3 Parquet floor brush and the SEB 205-3 air driven turbo brush.
If you have rugs and commercial type carpeting and smooth floors,then the Miele Quartz is for you. It comes with the combination rug and floor brush SBD 350-3 which is great for smooth floors and very low rugs. There is no electric roller brush so there is no deep cleaning. Excellent for homes with pets.

The difference between the S6 series vacuums and the S5 series vacuums are in size and weight and size of the dust bags they take. The S6 is compact and weighs aprox 11pounds and the s5 series weigh aprox 13 pounds. The s6 vacuums have one motor in the vacuum itself.The strongest vacuum roller brush is air driven. None can take an electric power brush and can not get upgraded.
The S5 vacuums except the PISCES and Ariel all come with 2 motors. One in the vacuum and one in the electric vacuum roller brush for extra powerful suction power.
The SEB 217-3 is a midsize power brush good for all types of carpeting.
The SEB 236 is a large power brush with height adjustment,more power and covers a larger radius. Good for all types of carpeting and large homes. Very important for homes with lots of pets.
The SEB 228 is a large power brush similar to the SEB 236. It does not come with a light or bumper guards. otherwise it is just as powerful and great for homes with pets.
The JAZZ, SALSA are all the same except for color. They are non automatic. Suction control is adjusted via rotary dial.
The BOLERO, TANGO are all automatic and are the same except for color. Suction power is adjusted automatically.
The S7 Twist is less expensive because it does not come with a HEPA filter or a headlamp. Suction power is adjusted by rotary dial.
All S7 upright vacuums are totally flexible for all cleaning tasks, from deep pile carpets, to hard floors or even upholstery and curtains.

S2 CAPRI: S2121: Comes with SEB 205-3 air powered turbo brush and a smooth floor brush. Good for commerical carpeting and smooth floors.Not for homes with pets
S2 DELPHI S2120: Comes wih SEB 217-3,good for homes with all types of carpeting.
S2 TITAN S2180: Comes with SEB 217-3, parquet floor tool and HEPA filter. Good for all types of carpeting,and all types of smooth flooring.

The difference between the S2 series vacuums and the S4 series vacuums is the weight. S2 series vacuums weigh aprox 12 pounds and the compact S4 series vacuums weigh aprox 10 pounds. The S2 vacuums take larger vacuum bags. The S4 vacuums are triple sealed vacuums while the S2 vacuums are not.
The S2 vacuums are powerful and work well,they are the budget series vacuums with the same power as the deluxe models.
The S5 series vacuums are deluxe and have more features.
